How to Set Up OneNote Integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales CRM
Add pictures, videos, and audio clips to records
OneNote integration allows your users to add and annotate pictures, videos, and audio clips to the notes sections of your CRM records.
See below for video and instructions:
Set up OneNote integration in Dynamics 365
1.) Go to Settings > Document Management, then click on SharePoint Sites.
2.) Make sure you have an Absolute URL set up. If you do not have an Absolute URL, you will need to set up SharePoint integration before you set up OneNote integration.
3.) Go back to Settings > Document Management, but this time click on OneNote Integration.
4.) Enable Account, Article, Lead, Opportunity, and Product (these should be enabled by default).
5.) Click Finish.
Now, when the user goes to an account, they will see a OneNote tab on that account. The users can enter details in this tab, and they will then show up under the account.
Initially, you might have to allow this website to open the OneNote application.
